Clinical Activity

Since 1996, carries on business in the Immunoallergology Service of the University Hospitals of Coimbra - Hospital and University of Coimbra, in External Appointment,Inpatient, Day Hospital and Complementary Diagnostic Means observing children and adults in the forum of Allergology and Clinical Immunology.

Scientific Activity / Awards

Author and co-author of over 40 publications in scientific journals and chapters of national and international books.

Author and co-author of more than 200 scientific papers presented in the form of oral communication or poster in national and international meetings.

In this context, was awarded 20 national and international scientific awards (as author and co-author).

Since 1991, researcher at the Pulmonology Center at the University of Coimbra Foundation for Science and Technology.

Co-investigator on 9 pharmacological multicentre studies.

Speaker at numerous courses, Conferences and Training Courses in the area of specialty, to Immunoallergology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine doctors, Nurses and Pharmacists.

Participated in moderating several round tables and free communications sessions at scientific meetings in the field of specialty.

Belong to the organizing committee of several Scientific Meetings.

Reviewer of articles submitted for publication in Allergy (official organ of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology- EAACI) and the Portuguese Journal of Immunoallergology (official journal of the Portuguese Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology - SPAIC)
